WRINM 2011 & 2010 Grant Recipients
Thank you PNM Resources for awarding WRINM the PNM Reduce Your Use Grant for a second year. The grant allowed us to completely upgrade our clinic kitchen and front office, which makes our work more efficient - saving us precious time and money that we can allocate to the animals.

our Mission Statement:

To raise, rehabilitate, release and educate.

the Human Impact on Wildlife

Sometimes the human impact on the environment can result in the displacement of wildlife. These displaced, injured, or orphaned animals can frequently fall into the hands of the public. When a chance encounter occurs, our clinic is available all year round for you. Here, the animal will receive first aid and the proper long term care as needed.

These chance encounters are also an opportunity for our organization to build strong relationships with the public through service and education. Our relationship with the public or animal rescuer, and New Mexico's wildlife is one that is truly from a unique perspective - one that together provides a positive impact on New Mexico wildlife.

our goals

To rehabilitate and release to the wild, injured or orphaned animals rescued by members of the public.

To come to the aid of displaced wildlife and the concerned people who find them.

To teach scientifically correct information about New Mexico wildlife.

To educate New Mexicans about the importance of habitat preservation and conservation for our native wildlife.
